We are delighted to be collaborating with HAM on this world exclusive and bringing the Ski Jumping Rabbit to hats.
A little more about HAM
HAM is the brainchild of artist and illustrator Joanna Ham who gained a BFA Fine Art with a specialism in anatomy from Oxford University's Ruskin School of Art. She formed her eponymous studio in 2011 and has since exhibited with Liberty, Mother, Billy Name, Topshop and Colette. In addition she has created bespoke artwork for The Body Shop, Mini, Moncler, Eurostar and Nike.

Our best selling Arctic Cub winter hat has been designed exclusively in collaboration with Jo HAM and this hat is a design gem.
The Arctic Cub hat features the Ski Jump Rabbit black and white monochrome HAM print. Rabbit is playful, jumping and having so much fun. The pure black ink on white base is printed onto 100% Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton and is densely woven for a modern finish.
Trimmed with a super soft and snuggly bright yellow faux fur trim that lines the ear flaps as well as the front panel.
Winter Tech
Little Hotdog Watson x HAM hats are also jam-packed with winter-ready smart design. The Arctic Cub trapper hat includes:
- RainAway – Water resistant fabric
- KidCosy – Lined with thinsulate to be super warm
- TwinkleTwinkle – Reflective safety detailing
- Machine washable
The Perfect Fit
Fit + comfort go hand in hand in our opinion and Little Hotdog Watson hats are designed to fit really comfortably. We've modernised the traditional trapper hat by re-inventing the way we cut it.
Our hats are cut into several considered panels to ensure comfort without tightness. The back of the hat is designed to arch slightly upwards at the back to allow for winter coats to be worn comfortably with it.
The ear flaps are designed so they can also be worn with hearing aids and sit comfortably by little ears. The ear flaps also have small 'non-scratchy' kids velcro fastening tabs so the ear flaps can be worn in three ways, down and loose, fastened under the chin or fastened up and out of the way - we call this listening ears at Hotdog HQ when you're shouting your little one for tea!
Cute Sustainability
It's important that we create long lasting products, designed for real family life. Beyond that we consider how we construct each hat to reduce any wastage.
To avoid fabric wastage we cut the hat pieces to make the most of the fabulous Ski Jump Rabbit fabric. This means each hat has its own unique print placement and not exactly like the picture. Unique just like our kids.
The Arctic Cub hat also features two little ears on top. Cute, yes but also created from the remaining fabric once the hat pattern is cut out.
We take our pattern cutting seriously.
Did we also mention we also create our premium cotton fabric in a mill run largely on solar energy.
Testing
Little Hotdog Watson hats are safety tested to the highest level and produced ethically.
Gift Wrapping
Little Hotdog Watson x HAM have created a short run of fabric gift bags to go with the hat. This is a 'drawstring' 100% BCI cotton bag featuring Ski Jump Rabbit print. We have a LIMITED number of these only. They can be added at check out by selecting the Gift Wrap box for a further £4.50

Care + Composition
100% BCI cotton inner

All trims, labels and threads are either recycled or responsibly sourced.
Care Instructions
Wipe with a damp sponge or machine wash at 30 degrees.
Do not tumble dry.
Little Hotdog Watson cuts our printed fabric in two directions so that we reduce fabric wastage and each hat is unique just like kids. Any smaller leftover fabrics are utilised in our cute ears and straps to minimise our environmental footprint.
How It's Made
The fabric mill is run using 75% solar energy. The process is water-efficient and treats waste effluents, as well as capturing and reusing water during the washing processes.
Environmentally Friendly Dyes
The dyes we use are Oeko-Tex® certified, meaning they are non-toxic and free from harmful chemicals.
Factories
Little Hotdog Watson carries out a thorough working conditions and environmental audit before working with any factory.
Performance
Our hats are long lasting because we use construction techniques that don’t cut corners.
We check each stage and each element by eye. We carry out rigorous performance tests and wearer trials. So that your hat can be handed down to siblings for new adventures.
